THE RACK
The Rack is an electrifying hard rock band from Atlanta, Georgia. Formed in 2019, their high production live performances have captivated audiences and packed out rooms since the very beginning. They most recently signed to Terminus Hate City Records, also out of Atlanta, GA.
Known for their massive stage presence and technical skills, the band delivers progressive hard rock with operatic vocals that will erupt in vicious screams out of nowhere. They have become an active staple in the local Atlanta scene, frequently playing and selling out prominent underground and DIY venues. They made waves when they were highlighted on the GPB Peach Jam Podcast and have performed at the Afropunk festival in New York
The Rack are unapologetic in their mission to break music industry standards, and represent musicians of color on the biggest stages in the rock world.
The Rack: "We formed in 2019 in Atlanta out of a necessity to provide a sound stylistically different then the scene. We are a four piece outfit consisting of bass, drums, guitar and a fierce frontman/woman/lead singer of color with wide ranging vocals and hard hitting lyrics. Our sound pulls from different eras such as 80’s and early 00’s rock and punk music. We use the stage as a place to unleash our progressive hard pop rock and theatrical, high energy, technical skills. We recently this year signed with local Atlanta, independent imprint, Terminus Hate City and are set to release our first single, “Control” produced by John Douglass on August 7th."
